IN THE WILDERNESS❋
hope is not reserved for the few - it’s for everyone.
why stay?If you found your way here because the weight feels too heavy, please stay.
Not because I can promise you tomorrow will be easy. I can't. But I can tell you that I once could not imagine a life beyond my pain, and I am so grateful I stayed long enough to meet the person I was becoming.
Sometimes staying starts with one very small thing: a call, a prayer, a walk, an honest conversation, an appointment.
Here are a few places to start.
❋ let someone inLet somebody love you out loud. You don't have to carry this alone.
❋ feel what you feelName it. Sit with it. Get curious about what your feelings are trying to tell you.
❋ pray the ugly prayerBring God the unedited version. The anger, the doubt, the fear - all of it.
❋ find your joyLaugh. Play. Make something. Find the things that remind you you're still here.
Here are things that bring me joy.
❋ move your bodyWalk. Stretch. Run. Play. Give your mind somewhere else to breathe.
❋ RESTRest is repair. And it is God’s loving instruction (Exodus 20: 8-10).

❋ stay another dayWalk. Stretch. Run. Play. Give your mind somewhere else to breathe.
be graceful with yourself - progress ain't no straight line; there's beauty in the struggle - revelation in the climb.
